Hi everyone! Apologies for my lack of activity on here for the past month, but like I said, November was really busy for me. However, and I’m probably going to regret saying this… I’m thinking of making up for it by participating in Blogmas this year??
That’s right, THE Blogmas, the post-every-day-for-24-days challenge that has broken many a blogger and vlogger before me. 😅 I’ve been blogging for a year now and still haven’t quite hit my stride, so I’m hoping this is just the challenge I need to push me to take some risks and post something other than book reviews.
The Blogmas Plan
My plan is to alternate between Christmassy content one day and regular bookish content the next. So tomorrow (Dec. 1) I’ll post about my favourite Christmas books, the next day my October reading wrap-up (because oops, I never did post that), the next day maybe my favourite Christmas movies, then my November reading wrap-up, and so on.
I’ll throw in some book reviews here and there on regular-content days as I finish books I feel like talking about. Those will be labeled as Blogmas, but they might not interest every Blogmas reader. I’ll try to still include something Christmassy in every post, though – for instance, I’ll be doing a jigsaw puzzle advent calendar, so maybe I’ll attach a photo of each day’s puzzle whether the post is Christmas-related or not. I’ll figure it out as I go!
I’m also hoping to do some renovations here on WorldLiteraTour over the next few weeks, so apologies in advance if you visit the site and things are looking chaotic.
I’m never sure how to end updates
So, um, yeah, wish me luck? This’ll be a lot of work, but hopefully also a lot of fun! I wish you the happiest and safest of holiday seasons. Happy reading and happy holidaying!
