Blogmas Day 7: Baking Muffins

I had a really busy morning and just want to relax this evening, so I’m not going to write a long post today. Let’s cut right to the chase, then.

Advent Calendar

No surprises in today’s advent calendar jigsaw puzzle, just a cute picture that came together without any trouble. This square is supposed to start the second row of the 24-square puzzle, as you can see by the edge pieces along the left side.

Baking Muffins

Once every week or two, I like to bake some muffins to donate to my church’s ministry for the homeless. This week, I was really craving the smell of chocolate, so I made some chocolate chip muffins.

I used this recipe from tasteandtellblog.com, and Compliments brand semi-sweet chocolate chips and chunks. I can’t eat ’em, but boy do they smell good!

Here they were as I was about to put them in the oven:

And here they are fresh out of the oven and smelling deliciously chocolatey!
